The Republican House Of Congress have become like sheep with Grover Norquist as their shepherd. When these republicans sign Grover’s pledge. Of no new taxes. Which he call “Americans for tax reform.” They, (the republicans), now represent Grover and, not the people. Grover said, “his pledge is the voice of the people.” Grover is implying that his pledge is a part of the constitution. What I would say to Grover. That he is not an elected official of government. Therefore his pledge is irrelevant to the constitution.
I would also remind Grover and the republicans. It would take a petition sign by 60% of all register voter in the states. To be the voice of the people. Therefore this is the voice of one, (Grover Norquist.) One citizen voice doesn’t speak for the many. The paper this pledge in written on is as useless as toilet paper. Grover’s pledge didn’t elect these republicans into congress. Grover and the Republicans want a single-party state.
The people voted these republicans into congress. Grover doesn’t pay these republicans salaries. It is the people’s, (taxes) that pay the republicans salaries. These republicans want
to cut spending on the poor, seniors, and middle class. These republicans need to start cutting their own salaries first. With a 10% approval rating in congress by the people. If these republicans were working in the private sector they would be fired. Since these republicans are working for the people. You as a register voter are their boss, and have
the power to fire them at the ballot box.
The republicans have misquoted the constitution over and over. By saying the President is raising taxes. When the constitution gave congress the power to raise or lower taxes. Not the President. These republicans have taken an oath to defend the constitution. After the health care bill was passed in congress by the House, the Senate, sign into law by the President, upheld by the supreme court as constitutional. These republicans have fought this law 31 times and lost. It seem that these republicans want to have control of all three branches of government. That is what they had in the old U.S.S.R. One party rule. Where only the elite the rich and wealthy benefited. Every one else was given propaganda.
The House Republicans put on a charade on TV for the people. I call this the, “Republican TV Court.” These republicans declare this health care law is unconstitutional and they were going to repeal this bill because of the mandate is a tax. Republicans say this mandate is the largest tax increase in modern times. In essence this mandate is a penalty for those who choose to disobey this health care law. A penalty is collected once and doesn’t have any effect on the people taxes. This charade is a bridge to no-where and, cost the tax payers 50 million dollars. The charade by republicans of “Fast and Ferocious” was a bridge to no-where and a waste of taxpayers money.
Do these republicans speak and bury their head in the sand? Not even the swiftest horse can over take the word once spoken. A lie told yesterday, is a lie today, and will be a lie tomorrow. This charade by republicans is an illusion. We don’t need actors in congress to put on the dog and pony show. And we don’t need those that need to be lead by a shepherd, (Grover Norquist.) What we need in congress are those that can think and, reason with a logical mind on their own in The Republican House of congress.

Of course, the important thing to remember about the currently Republican gameplay is that it is one that closely followed the gameplay and methodology of the Hitler’s Nationalist Party during the 1930′s and 1940′s.
They are working on a plan where they play on peoples deep seated hates. Hitler used the same method and built momentum on that hate. Though the overlying claim was they were saving the German Nation but we all know how it started, first it was building their country, then it was singling out minorities and then it was extermination of Minorities and the invasion of neighbor countries for the greatness of the German Race. Sounds Familiar?
There is a growing number of Republican voters that are stepping back and saying “Woah! This doesn’t sound the United States of America that they are trying to sell to us!”.
I am a Naturalized Citizen. When I came here from the UK we lived in the upper Midwest in a very Republican and conservative State and discovered quickly that there was an underlying hatred of outsiders, it didn’t matter that I was white, it was that I was not ‘one of them’. I would like to have said that I was in a small town but this was supposed to be the ‘western Capitol of that state’ (again the state will remain anoymous). We didn’t remain in the State long. They made it impossible. I think there was a single Latino Family and just one Black Man in the Town of 27,000 residents. The Latino Family opened a Mexican restaurant which sadly had very few customers. We ate there because the ‘equivalent’ was either Taco Bell or a midwestern owned and operated restauarant called ‘Little Mexico’ where the food had no flavor and service matched the flavor of the food.
We moved to California to care for ailing parents but I have never forgotten the feeling of being an outsider. To enter a Walmart and hear the words ‘The English are in here’ being uttered through the store like an echo.
So when I see how the Republican Party are now it is just a reflection of 12 years ago just an escalated version.
The Minorities this time are not just outsiders from other countries, it includes Women, Gays and Lesbians, Blacks, Latino’s, the Poor and not to forget anyone that is Democrat.
I half expect to hear of a program of building of extermination camps scheduled for mid-term under the Romney-Ryan Ticket.
They scare me and the lemmings that follow them scare me. Every so often I think that maybe it was a mistake Naturalizing but I made a choice to make the USA a country that I was a citizen of, a country that I felt that I could believe in, a country that was progressive and led the pack, no the group in the corner with swastika’s tattooed on their foreheads but I think that the USA is rapidly declining under the campaigns run by the Tea Party and the Republican’s and will make it into a third world country. I worry that that if Obama doesn’t win that we as a country will become the next ‘false’ Democracy and the expansion of the measures that were brought to us under the Bush Republican Era through the Patriot Act with unauthorized phone tapping and spying on the Citizens of the Country are dangerously close to becoming a ‘normality’.
